Abstract

India is country in which agriculture plays one important role in enhancing the country‘s GDP rate and enriching the country’s pride. Hence it is end of the hour of a to emphasize something innovative towards agriculture. Water plays an important role in the world economy. Agriculture consumes more water than any other source and also wastes much of that through inefficiencies. Our proposed system makes efficient use of available water through automatic Water Management system. An Intelligent Irrigation system is the sensor network which senses the information about soil moisture using copper plates and the sensed information is sent to the microcontroller. The microcontroller then compares the sensed soil moisture value with the threshold moisture value. When soil moisture in the field is less than the threshold level, then the motor is turned ON through the registered mobile phone user. When the motor is started, soil moisture is constantly monitored and once the soil moisture reaches the sufficient level then the motor is turned off by the user and the notification is sent to the user through Global System for Mobile communication network. Thus this system can effectively reduce water wastage compared to the conventional systems.

Abstract -- Cloud Computing provides data storage capacity and use of Cloud Computing have increased scalability, availability, security and simplicity. As more use of cloud computing environments increases, it is more difficult to deal with the performance of this environments. We have presented Some virtualization and network related communication issues and finally we have designed and implemented modified load balancing algorithm for performance increase. In market use of cloud many issues occurred like as security, privacy, reliability, legal issues, open standard, compliance. so, we have stated to solve these issues such algorithm to assess increase performance of computing clouds. Secondly, i.e. ‘Modified Weighted Active Monitoring Load Balancing Algorithm’ on cloud, for the balancer on Cloud Controller to effectively balance load requests between the available Node Controller, in order to achieve better performance parameters such as load on server and current performance on the server. By Existing Algorithm like in RRA (Round Robin Algorithm) load balance sequentially, we have designed this proposed algorithm on cloud and how to balance load randomly and display by existing algorithm and proposed algorithm comparison.

What is Image Processing?
Image processing is a method to convert an image into digital form and perform some operations on it, in order to get an enhanced image or to extract some useful information from it. It is a type of signal dispensation in which input is image, like video frame or photograph and output may be image or characteristics associated with that image. Usually Image Processingsystem includes treating images as two dimensional signals while applying already set signal processing methods to them.
It is among rapidly growing technologies today, with its applications in various aspects of a business. Image Processing forms core research area within engineering and computer science disciplines too.Image processing usually refers to digital image processing, but optical and analog image processing also are possible.
Analog or visual techniques of image processing can be used for the hard copies like printouts and photographs. Image analysts use various fundamentals of interpretation while using these visual techniques. The image processing is not just confined to area that has to be studied but on knowledge of analyst. Association is another important tool in image processing through visual techniques. So analysts apply a combination of personal knowledge and collateral data to image processing.
Digital Processing techniques help in manipulation of the digital images by using computers. As raw data from imaging sensors from satellite platform contains deficiencies. To get over such flaws and to get originality of information, it has to undergo various phases of processing. The three general phases that all types of data have to undergo while using digital technique are Pre- processing, enhancement and display, information extraction.
If you have worked on any part of image processing prepare a research paper and submit to us
Image processing basically includes the following three steps.
  • Importing the image with optical scanner or by digital photography. The acquisition of images (producing the input image in the first place) is referred to as imaging.
  • Analyzing and manipulating the image which includes data compression and image enhancement and spotting patterns that are not to human eyes like satellite photographs.
  • Output is the last stage in which result can be altered image or report that is based on image analysis.

Purpose of Image processing
The purpose of image processing is divided into various groups. They are:
  • Visualization - Observe the objects that are not visible.
  • Image sharpening and restoration - To create a better image.
  • Image retrieval - Seek for the image of interest.
  • Measurement of pattern – Measures various objects in an image.
  • Image Recognition – Distinguish the objects in an image.

Applications of Image processing
Image processing has been an important stream of Research for various fields. Some of the application areas of Image processing are….
Intelligent Transportation Systems – E.g. Automatic Number Plate Recognition, Traffic Sign Recognition
Remote Sensing –E.g.Imaging of earth surfaces using multi Spectral Scanners/Cameras, Techniques to interpret captured images etc.
Object Tracking – E.g. Automated Guided Vehicles, Motion based Tracking, Object Recognition
Defense surveillance – E.g. Analysis of Spatial Images, Object Distribution Pattern Analysis of Various wings of defense. Earth Imaging using UAV etc.
Biomedical Imaging & Analysis – E.g. Various Imaging using X- ray, Ultrasound, computer aided tomography (CT) etc. Disease Prediction using acquired images, Digital mammograms.etc.
Automatic Visual Inspection System – E.g.Automatic inspection of incandescent lamp filaments, Automatic surface inspection systems,    Faulty component identification etc.
And many other applications…..
To contribute your research work in Image processing please prepare an article on it and submit to us.

#IJSRD.COM

A lot of us feel the same way but end up doing nothing to change it. Just because you have never done anything exceptional does not mean you don't have it in you.

Not all of us did well in school. Honestly, it doesn't matter because school is not the only education. Here are people who dropped out to do what they did and were really good at it.

What Is the Difference Between a Thesis and a Dissertation? IJSRD.com

Learn some tips on how to write the best thesis or dissertation.
So you are beginning your graduate program, reading over all the material and trying to prepare yourself as best as possible for the next two to three years. You’re already looking forward to graduation and figuring out exactly what will be required in order to receive your degree on time. What you've probably discovered is that whether you are pursuing a masters degree or a doctoral degree, the main goal in graduate school is to complete original research or projects, depending on your degree program.
The words “thesis” and “dissertation” are often used interchangeably, leading to some confusion in academia about what each individual word actually means. The main similarity between the dissertation and the thesis is the structure. Both have an introduction, literary review, main body, conclusion, bibliography and appendix. But that is the extent in which they are similar.
Differences Between a Masters Thesis and Doctoral Dissertation
Generally in the US, a thesis is the final project for the masters degree and a dissertation leads to a doctoral degree. Those pursuing a masters degree must perform research on a specific subject that demonstrates their knowledge acquired through their program. Seeking a PhD is different in that your dissertation must contribute something completely new and undiscovered to your field. In other words, you have to contribute original knowledge to the subject. So the main difference between a thesis and a dissertation is the depth of knowledge you must attain in order to write the paper.
A masters degree thesis is more closely related to a research paper that you would have completed during college. You are expected only to use the research of others and provide your own analysis on your discoveries. It demonstrates your level of critical and analytical thinking and defines the subject that you are most interested in pursuing within your field. With a dissertation, you are expected to use the research of others only to guide you in your own research to come up with a completely new hypothesis.
Another way in which the thesis and dissertation differ are in length. A masters degree thesis is typically over 100 pages. However, the dissertation is usually at least double and sometimes triple the length of a thesis. To determine the length of your thesis or dissertation, remember you should always first consult your grad school.
Tips For Writing a Thesis or Dissertation
The first step in writing your thesis or dissertation (or any other academic paper) is setting a deadline. You don’t want your deadline to be the due date of the paper because you need to leave enough time to get it proofread and to make any additional changes. You should keep a journal of your ideas to help with the writing process. The next step is to create a detailed outline of your paper.
When beginning to write your thesis or dissertation, keep in mind that you are writing an academic paper. Not many people besides your professors and academic advisors will read your thesis, so make sure to keep your writing style formal.
Consult a scholarly text to see how your thesis or dissertation should be structured. Once you have written and edited your thesis or dissertation, you should find an editor. Some editors will only check spelling and grammar issues, while others will check for overall continuity and flow. Determine what you need before searching for an editor.
